Director of Procurement

📋 Description

• Build and lead procurement strategy, operating model, and policies
• Own vendor spend visibility, sourcing, and negotiation
• Drive pricing normalization, vendor consolidation, and contract discipline
• Establish standardized procurement workflows, approvals, and governance
• Partner with FP&A to integrate procurement savings into budgeting and forecasting
• Collaborate with Legal and Security on contract terms and risk mitigation
• Develop supplier performance metrics and ongoing vendor management processes
• Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives with measurable impact
• Support scalability by building procurement infrastructure and tools

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management
• Proven cost savings and operational improvements at scale
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder skills
• Experience partnering with Finance/FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and ROI
• Ability to build processes and teams in a high-growth environment
• Strong analytical skills with spend data and vendor economics
• Experience in consumer/e-commerce/food/high-growth settings preferred
• Leadership experience building procurement from the ground up a plus
