Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR)

📋 Description

• Define and lead HEOR strategy aligned with product pipelines and enterprise initiatives
• Use longitudinal data to design real-world evidence showing health impact and value
• Build cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and ROI models for health features
• Develop RWE frameworks using internal/external data to assess longitudinal outcomes
• Analyze wearable data to evaluate population-level impact and value
• Lead value dossiers and evidence packages for commercial and government contracts
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, data science, product, legal, and commercial teams for compliant claims
• Partner with Clinical Science to embed endpoints in validation studies for value modeling
• Establish documentation, modeling logic, and version control for defensible analyses

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in HEOR, public health, health policy, biostatistics, or related field
• 8+ years in HEOR or real-world evidence in digital health or medical devices
• Hands-on experience building cost-effectiveness, budget impact, or ROI models
• Experience integrating economic endpoints into clinical study design
• Experience supporting enterprise, payer, or government evidence discussions
• Strong quantitative skills with large healthcare or real-world datasets
• Ability to operate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and clinical teams
• Experience with wearable data, digital biomarkers, or remote health technologies
• Experience supporting SaMD programs or regulated product environments
• Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, and querying data warehouses (eg Snowflake)
• Experience publishing peer-reviewed economic or real-world research
• Experience building HEOR capabilities in scaling organizations
