- Build and lead Rain’s US government relations strategy for payments and fintech
- Establish and manage relationships with policymakers and regulators nationwide
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments in payments and digital assets
- Collaborate with legal/compliance and leadership to assess policy risks and opportunities
- Represent Rain in industry associations and policy forums
- Develop policy positions and external messaging on Rain’s technology
- Advise internal teams on regulatory strategy for new markets/products
- Help build a scalable government relations function globally
🎯 Requirements
- 12+ years in government relations or regulatory affairs in financial services/payments/fintech/digital assets
- Experience with U.S. regulators (Treasury, Federal Reserve, OCC, CFPB, or Congress)
- Deep knowledge of payments ecosystem (card issuing/acquiring)
- Ability to translate complex concepts into policy narratives
- Strong network among policymakers and industry stakeholders
- Experience building strategy in fast-moving regulated environments
