Director of Fund Accounting, Robinhood Ventures

📋 Description

• Oversee quarterly/annual SEC filings and US GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate N-CSR and N-PORT certifications per SOX.
• Partner with teams for successful fund IPOs.
• Lead annual audits with external auditors.
• Oversee NAV calculations and fund expenses.
• Participate in RHV valuation committee for investments.
• Review budgets: management fees, 12b-1 and waivers.
• Maintain SOX-compliant internal controls.
• Present communications at Board meetings.
• Monitor and report new accounting standards.
• Mentor and develop the Robinhood Ventures accounting team.
• Foster continuous improvement and training.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in fund accounting/investment mgmt, 40 Act funds.
• Strong US GAAP, SEC reporting, 40 Act fund requirements.
• Proven leadership, high energy, staff development.
• Expert in 40 Act fund technical accounting issues.
• Excellent written/verbal communication; can influence stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA or equivalent required.
