Director of Engineering - Security Products

📋 Description

• Define and own the multi-year engineering strategy and roadmap for Security Products in India.
• Lead and scale teams across threat detection, identity management, data protection, and security.
• Partner with VP and C-suite stakeholders to translate business priorities into plans.
• Drive org design, headcount planning, and talent strategy to scale the India engineering function.
• Establish engineering excellence: coding standards, architecture reviews, incident metrics.
• Champion security-first culture and risk management across the full lifecycle.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years in software engineering, with 6+ years in senior leadership or management roles.
• Experience scaling engineering org (50+ engineers) delivering cloud-scale security products or distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in security protocols, cryptography, identity management, and modern security architecture.
• Go and JavaScript/Node.js fluency; able to engage in architecture reviews.
• Kubernetes expertise; cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) with IaC (Terraform, Helm, Chef).
