Director of Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and support multiple engineering teams; ensure delivery, quality, and healthy team operations.
• Define and guide architecture and long-term system strategy with EMEA leadership.
• Own and manage technical roadmaps with VP of Product, VP of Engineering and Director of Engineering in EMEA.
• Partner closely with Product Management to align engineering strategy with product priorities and customer needs.
• Ensure teams have clear execution plans via backlog management, sprint planning, and retros.
• Drive team velocity; identify blockers and maintain delivery cadence with product and tech leads.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering with leadership/management experience.
• Experience managing engineering teams and managers; hiring & performance reviews.
• Proven track record leading high-performing teams delivering complex software.
• Hands-on with AI tools; passion for developer tooling (Copilot, Claude Code).
• Experience owning technical strategy, architecture direction, and roadmaps.
• Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
