- Proven performance engineering leadership at scale (10k+ concurrent users, distributed systems).
- Experience shipping or operating AI/ML systems; understand AI quality challenges.
- Experience managing multi-team orgs with ICs and architects (10–40 headcount).
- Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or Java; strong CI/CD tooling.
- Working knowledge of LLM capabilities and prompt engineering; RAG; agentic workflows.
- Observability/APM familiarity with Datadog, Grafana, Dynatrace or New Relic.
