Director of Cybersecurity Advisory - Northeast region

📋 Description

• Build and lead a cybersecurity advisory team
• Establish consultative relationships with customer executives and security leaders
• Identify opportunities where GPS solutions address customer needs
• Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and security program development
• Represent GPS as a security expert via speaking engagements and publications
• Work with sales, delivery, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in advisory or client leadership
• Proven track record building and leading cybersecurity teams
• Deep expertise across risk management, compliance, incident response, security architecture
• Strong business acumen translating tech concepts to business value
• Excellent communication/presentation skills with C-level executives
• Established network in Boston or NYC cybersecurity communities
• Must be local to Boston or NYC metro area
• CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar certifications preferred
