📋 Description

• Define and evolve Upstart's corporate narrative grounded in performance.
• Develop programs to increase visibility across business, finance, tech media.
• Elevate executive profiles via media strategy and thought leadership.
• Counsel leaders on messaging and high-stakes communications moments.
• Align messaging with Investor Relations, Legal, Marketing and Growth.
• Translate lending, AI, regulation, and macro trends into clear stories.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, English, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in corporate communications, PR, executive comms, or related field.
• 5+ years developing corporate messaging and media strategies for public/tech fintech.
• Experience building executive visibility through media interviews and events.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Legal, Marketing.
• Knowledge of the media landscape across business, financial, tech, and consumer outlets.
