Director of Communications

📋 Description

• Define and execute a global comms strategy integrating exec, policy, internal, and product narratives.
• Lead media relations to restore Paxos’s presence in major financial and crypto outlets.
• Own internal and executive communications with partners on high-stakes, regulated topics.
• Advise the CEO and execs; shape narratives and decision-ready options.
• Use AI tools to increase leverage in content development, research, and measurement.
• Coordinate external agencies and cross-functional teams across regions.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in comms with senior leadership in tech/fintech/financial services; crypto preferred.
• Deep experience across exec, corporate, policy/regulatory, internal, and product comms.
• Proven press/media relations; build brand in key media and forums.
• Experience at fintech/banks; crypto-native experience preferred.
• Strong relationships with finance/crypto reporters; operate across US and international markets.
• Experience building or scaling a comms function with teams and agencies.
