- Negotiate coverage (reimbursement) for designated products through contracting and non-contracting opportunities.
- Assess and diagnose key accounts to gain positive formulary access with minimal restrictions.
- Build and manage relationships with Pharmacy Benefit Managers, national/regional health plans, Medicare, and Medicaid programs.
- Develop and execute account-specific strategies that drive access, reimbursement, formulary placement, utilization growth, and patient access.
- Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR/RWE, Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Pricing & Contracting, Legal/Compliance to align payer strategies.
- Lead national and regional payor accounts to maximize access and sales; manage resources and external partnerships.
π― Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 8+ years of account management experience for Federal accounts (VA/DoD) with deep knowledge of national and regional payor accounts.
- 8+ years of experience with national and regional payor accounts and achieving access/reimbursement outcomes.
- Experience in a matrixed organization and leading without formal reporting authority.
- Demonstrated understanding of Federal legal, regulatory, and compliance environment.
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
