Director, Knowledge Platform Engineering (relocate to Singapore)

📋 Description

• Own architecture, delivery, and adoption of a governed data to knowledge to skills stack.
• Design and scale semantic and operational layers on our Databricks lakehouse.
• Enforce governance and lineage; productize capabilities for humans and AI agents.
• Drive platform adoption with APIs, orchestration, and observable metrics.
• Own regional/global data localization strategy within Databricks.
• Collaborate with Data Science, AI, Product and Risk teams to enable rapid experimentation.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in data or platform engineering; 5+ years leading multi-region teams.
• Architect and scale data platforms with semantic layers or knowledge graphs.
• Hands-on data modeling: transactional, event-driven, dimensional, feature tables.
• Governed semantic layer with auditable metrics definitions.
• Build reusable APIs, orchestration, workflows, agent-callable tools.
• Deep Databricks lakehouse experience.
• Regional data localization while preserving a unified global model.
• Data governance, privacy, regulatory controls across jurisdictions.
• Platform-as-product mindset with adoption, DX, SLAs/SLOs.
