Director, ISV Partnerships

📋 Description

• Lead MongoDB's greenfield ISV partnerships program, defining strategy and execution for both vertical and horizontal ISVs.
• Own program infrastructure: onboarding, partner playbooks, co-sell frameworks, success metrics, and internal operating model.
• Set vision for ISV partnerships and communicate it to executives, cross-functional teams, and your own group.
• Operate as a player-coach, staying hands-on in key partnerships and complex negotiations.
• Build and scale the Partner Manager team, with clear performance expectations and career development.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Pre-Sales to align ISV strategy with MongoDB’s GTM priorities.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in partnerships, business development, or ISV program management; 4+ years leading a tech-team.
• Strategic and executional—able to think at program/portfolio level while remaining credible in partner conversations.
• Player-coach mindset; direct engagement to unlock outcomes that the team cannot achieve alone.
• Program builder with experience scaling partnerships and aligning internal stakeholders.
• Commercially sophisticated with experience in co-sell economics and ROI evaluation.
• Talent developer—provides feedback, growth opportunities, and creates an environment for top performers.
• Executive communicator capable of distilling complex portfolios into a clear narrative for leadership.
• Based in the United States with remote-friendly eligibility.
