Director, Infrastructure Capex Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end accounting for infrastructure assets (CIP, close).
• Apply ASC 360 for capitalization, impairment, disposals, and asset retirement.
• Partner with Real Estate, Legal, and Finance to clarify accounting before commitments.
• Serve as finance partner to non-finance teams; explain financial impact clearly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve asset data pipelines for timing.
• Design and scale processes and controls for a growing fixed asset portfolio; lead and mentor a team.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, tech/infrastructure focus.
• BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Strong ASC 360 knowledge for infrastructure assets.
• Experience managing a large fixed asset portfolio in high-growth environments.
• Ability to translate technical accounting concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
• Lead and develop accounting teams; strong cross-functional collaboration.
