📋 Description

• Lead US government-facing advocacy for Cloudflare.
• Evaluate US policy debates and legislative developments impacting Cloudflare.
• Develop US policy strategy aligned with Cloudflare's international policy and business priorities.
• Shape Cloudflare’s engagement with trade associations and key initiatives.
• Create talking points, policy narratives, and external materials for events and communications.
• Articulate Cloudflare’s policy positions to policy makers and officials.

🎯 Requirements

• BA with strong academics; JD or applicable graduate degree desirable.
• 12+ years working with US federal regulators and officials; tech/telecoms experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of US laws, regulations and policy developments important to Cloudflare.
• Experience drafting or reviewing proposed legislative text, regulatory comments, and policy submissions.
• Strong network of US regulators, officials, and industry stakeholders.
• Fluency in and passion for cutting-edge technology.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills; able to articulate complex policy issues to execs.
