Director, Hardware Product Operations

📋 Description

• Lead hardware launches; own cost, resilience, and supply chain enablement.
• Partner with Hardware & Operations to maintain schedule and ramp to mass production.
• Own relationships with external JDMs across exec engagement and QBRs.
• Embed Have Discipline; build systems for cost, resilience, and sustainability.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.
• Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, high-performing team.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in hardware sourcing, procurement, supply chain or related field.
• Proven experience managing new product launches within an operations org.
• Established people/team management skills with leadership potential.
• Experience building long-term relationships with key customers and guiding solutions.
• Ability to plan 1-2 year strategy/roadmap and influence across teams.

An ideal candidate also has

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate high-performing talent and engaged teams.
