- Develop and own GA/public policy strategy for SEA & India aligned with Airwallex priorities.
- Partner with legal, product, data teams and regional leadership to educate policy agenda setters.
- Identify and prioritise policy issues in payments, licensing, digital assets and privacy.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to leadership on political and regulatory developments.
- Build relationships with government stakeholders, regulators, central banks and industry bodies in SEA & India.
- Lead advocacy on priority issues with clear, credible representation.
🎯 Requirements
- 12+ years in government affairs/public policy with SEA/India familiarity, ideally fintech.
- Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution in policy strategy and engagements.
- Strong relationship builder, comfortable engaging senior officials and regulators.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to simplify complex issues.
- Highly proactive, organized and resilient, with bias to action in fast-paced env.
- Proven track record delivering policy outcomes through constructive engagement.
