📋 Description

  • Lead finance: budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting, audit, payroll.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership for sustainability, planning, scenario analysis.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, variance analyses, and board reports.
  • Oversee grant and contribution agreement compliance, funder reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to CRA regs, ASNPO, and relevant legislation.
  • Lead annual audit and liaison with external auditors.

🎯 Requirements

  • 10+ years in finance & operations with 5+ years in nonprofit leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business admin, or related field.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Experience presenting to Boards and non-financial audiences.
  • Familiarity with government grants and multi-funder reporting.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, IT, Admin).
