  • Serve as Abridge’s primary on-the-ground federal affairs lead in Washington, DC.
  • Develop policy positions, advocacy strategies, and response plans for priority federal proposals.
  • Manage external lobbyists and policy consultants; ensure lobbying compliance.
  • Build relationships with Congressional offices, Federal agencies, and senior staff.
  • Monitor, analyze, and brief leadership on federal legislation and AI/healthcare policy trends.
  • Identify and participate in coalitions with aligned companies and advocacy groups.

🎯 Requirements

  • 7+ years in federal government affairs, healthcare/digital health/tech policy.
  • Strong knowledge of federal policymaking processes and regulatory pathways.
  • Experience representing an organization at external policy events or forums.
  • Excellent communication; translate AI/regulatory concepts into policy narratives.
  • Demonstrated experience working with or managing external lobbyists.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with policymakers, staff, and coalitions.
