Director Expedition Development, Voyage

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Product Managers to develop standout voyage programming.
• Oversee the voyage experience from embarkation to disembarkation.
• Conceptualize, budget, and launch voyage components (programming, transport, lodging, meals).
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to define selling propositions and content.
• Promote cross-department collaboration to ensure seamless guest experiences and revenue growth.
• Ensure voyages comply with permitting laws and coordinate contingencies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
• 3+ years in voyage development or travel planning.
• 3+ years leading and mentoring a team.
• In-depth knowledge of geographical regions relevant to Lindblad voyages.
• Basic understanding of permitting compliance laws related to maritime operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Workfront, Asana; MXP and CRM systems.
