Director, Engineering - Patient

📋 Description

• Set engineering strategy for the core patient experience with Product/Data Science leadership
• Lead 3 Engineering Managers; scale org from ~18 to 30+ engineers
• Co-own patient funnel metrics with Product and Data counterparts
• Drive delivery of ML-powered ranking, onboarding, and activation systems
• Build engineering culture with clear standards for velocity and quality
• Define AI/ML standards and responsible practices in healthcare

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering, 5+ years managing engineering managers
• Led engineering for consumer/ marketplace with search, ranking, or personalization
• Scaled engineering org through high-growth (25+ to 50+) while maintaining velocity
• Strong architecture for ranking/ML systems, marketplace infra
• Experience shipping ML-powered features at consumer scale
• Track record moving business metrics through eng-product partnership
