📋 Description

• Lead a team of engineering managers and staff engineers.
• Drive development of a world-class, open-source query engine for the document model.
• Design, develop, and ship a distributed, multi-model query engine.
• Allocate resources, balance features with releases, ensure timely delivery.
• Grow the organization, maintain high engagement, and foster inclusive culture.
• Travel up to four weeks per year to meet remote teams.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years in a management role leading engineering teams.
• Proven success mentoring distributed software engineering teams.
• Excellent verbal and written technical communication.
• Strong emotional intelligence and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Experience designing, writing, testing, and maintaining distributed software; C/C++ a plus.
• 10+ years programming and systems design; expertise in query planning, optimization, and execution.
