Director, Data Ontology

📋 Description

• Define, document, and govern how DeepIntent understands its data.
• Design and maintain the healthcare ontology across domains.
• Map external standards (ICD-10, etc.) to internal data models.
• Build and manage a knowledge graph linking data and products.
• Create and own the company data dictionary/spine as the authoritative source.
• Ensure datasets are tagged, described, and discoverable by humans and AI.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in data roles focused on data modeling, knowledge management, or semantic architecture.
• Experience building or contributing to a knowledge graph, data catalog, or enterprise ontology.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills; comfortable in a cloud data warehouse.
• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment on abstract, contested topics — technical and organizational.
• Experience designing data schemas or metadata for LLM/AI agent consumption.
• Background in health informatics, clinical data, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (ICD-10, claims data) and API schemas for AI tools.
