Director, Corporate Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead month-end close process with scalable solutions for cross-functional reporting goals.
• Review corporate accounting processes for US GAAP, external reporting, and SOX.
• Develop and manage a distributed accounting team across the U.S. and offshore in India.
• Lead AI and automation transformation of corporate accounting processes with Business Systems.
• Collaborate with Finance & Strategy, Revenue Accounting, Tax, Procurement; drive variance analysis and establish new processes; communicate implications.
• Streamline processes and SOX controls leveraging technology and automation.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years accounting; mix of public and in-house; 5+ years people mgmt.
• Strong leadership; coaching and mentoring to team.
• NetSuite experience highly preferred.
• Operational accounting: journal entries, NetSuite reports, troubleshooting.
• Cross-functional collaboration; identify issues; document conclusions.
• CPA preferred; Alteryx, FloQast and AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) experience.
