Director, Controllership & Accounting

📋 Description

• Manage annual audit engagements and present audit results.
• PPA and understanding of M&A and acquisition accounting.
• MLS revenue reporting, modeling, and payout management.
• Own special pricing models; manage contracts and payout schedules.
• Tax compliance management and system implementation.
• Collaborate with external tax consultants.
• Monthly reconciliations and process/review scheduling.
• Cash flow analysis and liquidity management; daily cash reporting.
• Implement Volume, Price and Mix (VPM) analysis to explain variances.
• Revenue take rate analysis and explanations.
• Policy audits to ensure compliance (T&E, reserves, controls).
• A/R balance management and collections coordination.
• Maple billing oversight and management.
• Consolidated GAAP reporting.
• Banking relationships management.
• Ownership of Graphite consultant relationship and monthly close.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in accounting or audit in SaaS/tech.
• Stripe payments expertise: analytics, refunds, and audits.
• Fluent in NetSuite and SmartView; solid income statement, cash flow and balance sheet knowledge.
• Ramp system management, AP approvals, vendor management, and PO system implementation.
• Experience managing audits and reporting.
• Experience working with senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.
• US GAAP knowledge and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Google Suites.
