Director, Compute Infrastructure Procurement

📋 Description

• Build operating models for scalable procurement (systems, flows, governance)
• Design DRI/RACI frameworks for cross-functional handoffs
• Ensure controls are audit-ready from the start
• Conduct vendor analysis to identify cost savings and support negotiations
• Define procurement controls and SLAs for hardware onboarding and CapEx tagging
• Establish reconciliation routines for materials, receipts, and supplier payments

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in procurement; 2+ years in datacenter infra operations
• Understanding of compute infrastructure components: servers, GPUs/TPUs, networking, storage
• Experience managing high-value, complex procurement relationships
• Proficiency with 2-way and 3-way match P2P processes and PO management
• Experience with procurement systems (Zip or Workday ERP)
• Capital-intensive datacenter procurement with long-lead-time equipment
