Director, Collections

📋 Description

• Define and execute multi-year B2B collections and recovery strategy.
• Own metrics for delinquencies, roll rates, and NCOs; improve recovery.
• Lead and mentor a team of collections managers and specialists.
• Optimize SOPs, workflows, and treatment strategies.
• Oversee external collection agencies and legal partners.
• Partner with Data Science to build predictive models and AI outreach.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in collections, risk ops, or credit cycle mgmt; 5+ in B2B unsecured
• 3+ years in a senior leadership role
• Deep expertise in commercial collections: workouts, arbitration, bankruptcy, and legal recoveries
• Analytical and data-driven; comfortable with data warehouses and BI tools (Looker, Hex)
• Experience in a high-growth fintech or modern banking environment
• Exceptional executive communication with C-suite and external partners
