Director, Business Development

📋 Description

• Develop BD strategies to expand genomics/multi-omics presence, esp. diagnostics.
• Translate strategy into a measurable execution plan.
• Identify and advance partnerships with biotech, pharma, academia.
• Develop business cases with financial modeling; lead term sheets and agreements.
• Establish success metrics, governance, and joint operating mechanisms.
• Drive revenue through collaborations, platform adoption, and workflow pull-through.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in biological sciences or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 7+ years in corporate BD with strategy, modeling, negotiation, and contract execution
• Proven track record of executing BD strategies and agreements
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Extensive network with key stakeholders in pharma and diagnostics
• Technical experience across research, clinical diagnostics, and biopharma
