Director, Avionics Systems Integration & Test

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end avionics engineering and verification across components, systems, and vehicle.
• Champion requirements management and verification test plans.
• Lead development of test platforms including HITL testbeds and GSE.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Avionics, Vehicle Integration, and Launch Ops.
• Travel to test and launch sites to support integration and operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Eng or CS
• 10+ years in development, integration, and test of complex electrical, mechanical, software systems
• 7+ years leading engineering teams
• Environmental testing exp (thermal, vibration, shock, humidity, EMC) and standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-810)
• Deep understanding of electrical system tests and equipment (power supplies, DMM, oscillos, VNAs)
• Scripting and data analysis with Python or MATLAB
