Digital Asset Manager (DAM) Librarian

📋 Description

• Establish and maintain metadata schemas, taxonomies, tagging standards.
• Ensure assets cataloged with accurate metadata for searchability.
• Enforce DAM governance: versioning, rights, retention, archival.
• Manage user groups, roles, and permissions for access control.
• Provide day-to-day DAM support; resolve uploads, searches, downloads.
• Develop user guides and training; liaise between business, creative, IT.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Management, Digital Media, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience managing digital assets in a DAM system.
• Strong knowledge of metadata, taxonomy, information architecture, and digital file formats.
• Familiarity with rights management, copyright, and brand compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong communication and training ability.
• Experience with DAM platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Bynder, Brandfolder, or MediaValet.
