Technical Writer at DigiCert

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join DigiCert in Bangalore, India. You will create and maintain technical documentation for our security software products, including API documentation, user guides, installation and configuration manuals, and developer references. Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure accurate, clear, and accessible content. Use established style guides and templates, contribute to content strategy, and help improve the readability and usefulness of documentation across our documentation portal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product documentation including API docs, onboarding guides, admin manuals, and release notes.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather information and translate it into clear, user-friendly content.
• Contribute to information architecture and content strategy; ensure consistency with DigiCert brand and documentation standards.
• Review and edit content for accuracy, tone, and clarity; manage documentation portals (e.g., Confluence, CMS).
• Publish content and coordinate with localization teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical writing for software/SaaS products; security domain is a plus.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills; attention to detail.
• Familiarity with markup languages and documentation tools (Markdown, DITA/XML, Confluence, CMS).
• Ability to gather information from engineers and create structured documentation.
