Solutions Engineer at DigiCert

Overview: DigiCert is seeking a customer-facing Solutions Engineer to join our remote-friendly team. In this role, you will partner with the sales organization to design, demonstrate, and position DigiCert’s TLS/PKI security solutions to prospective customers. You will translate customer requirements into technical architectures, deliver engaging demonstrations, and support proof-of-concept projects to help customers secure digital identities and data in transit.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer needs and map them to DigiCert solutions
• Deliver technical product demonstrations and presentations to diverse audiences
• Design scalable PKI/TLS architectures and integration patterns
• Respond to technical questions and RFPs with clear, actionable proposals
• Lead or support proofs of concept and pilot deployments
• Work with product, engineering, and customer support to ensure successful implementations
• Stay current on DigiCert products, security trends, and competitive landscape

Qualifications

• 3+ years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of PKI, TLS, cryptography, and secure communications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating with SaaS apps
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to present complex concepts clearly
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment
