Role Overview

As a Solutions Engineer at DigiCert, you will partner with customers, sales teams and product engineers to design and present security solutions that leverage DigiCert TLS/PKI products. You will translate customer requirements into technical architectures, demonstrate capabilities, and support the adoption and deployment of DigiCert solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers and partners.
• Collaborate with the sales team to qualify opportunities and craft technical win strategies.
• Analyze customer requirements and design security architectures using DigiCert TLS, PKI and certificate management products.
• Develop and run proof-of-concept pilots and implementation plans.
• Respond to RFPs and create detailed technical proposals.
• Provide guidance during deployment, integration and post-sales handoff to engineering and support teams.
• Maintain current knowledge of DigiCert product roadmap and security trends.
• Engage with partners and field teams to support successful outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting in cybersecurity, identity, or cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of TLS/SSL, PKI, certificate management and cryptography fundamentals.
• Experience with APIs and integrations (REST/JSON); scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) are a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities; comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel as required to support customers.
