DigiCert is seeking a Software Engineer (QA) to join our team in Bangalore, India. As a QA Engineer, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our digital security products and services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test automation scripts.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using appropriate frameworks; execute manual and automated tests; report and track defects; verify fixes.
• Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to understand requirements and ensure quality from planning through release.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and improve release velocity.
• Participate in performance, security, and regression testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of QA engineering experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web application testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance or security testing.
• Mobile app testing experience; knowledge of Appium is a plus.
• Experience with Jira or other issue tracking systems.
