Job Description
DigiCert is looking for a Software Engineer (QA) to join our Bangalore team. This on-site role focuses on ensuring the quality of DigiCert's security software and certificate management platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for DigiCert software products.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for API and UI layers (e.g., Selenium) and integrate with CI/CD.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify, reproduce, and document defects and track issues in the defect-tracking system.
- Contribute to process improvements and quality metrics.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software QA experience in a software development environment.
- Experience with API testing and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Programming skills in Python or Java.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Nice-to-have: knowledge of security software or cryptography is a plus.
