Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a key member of the engineering organization, you will drive the design and implementation of intuitive, performant, and scalable web applications. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver seamless user experiences across DigiCert’s enterprise platforms.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate business requirements into elegant and responsive user interfaces.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript, Next.js, or similar).

• Ensure UI components are reusable, performant, and accessible across different products and environments.

• Build and maintain design systems and shared component libraries to ensure consistency across platforms.

• Implement best practices in state management, routing, testing, and build optimization.

• Partner with backend teams to define and consume RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance frontend performance and reliability.

• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and trends to continuously improve development processes.

What you will have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 2+ years of experience in modern frontend development for enterprise or SaaS products.

• Strong proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, or similar.

• Familiarity with UI testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Solid grasp of software design principles, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality, maintainable code.

• Extensive experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and modern DevOps workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with micro-frontend architectures, module federation, or design system management tools (Storybook, Figma integration).

• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, Sentry).

• Experience building secure and compliant frontend applications in enterprise environments.

• Exposure to AI-powered UI/UX, data visualization frameworks, or interactive dashboards.
