DigiCert is a global leader in digital security solutions including SSL/TLS certificates, PKI, and identity services. We are seeking a Renewals Sales Specialist who can engage German-speaking customers to secure renewals and drive additional value for DigiCert.

Role Overview

The Renewals Sales Specialist (German Speaker) will manage renewal opportunities for German-speaking customers, ensuring high renewal rates, customer satisfaction, and opportunities for upsell. This role is on-site in Durban, South Africa and requires strong communication in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the renewals lifecycle for assigned accounts, ensuring timely and accurate renewals.
• Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the renewal process.
• Collaborate with Sales/Account Management teams to maximize renewal revenue and customer retention.
• Maintain and update CRM with renewal opportunities, quotes, and customer communications in German and English.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships with German-speaking customers.
• Meet or exceed renewal targets and contribute to overall team success.

Qualifications

• Fluency in German with strong English communication skills.
• 2+ years of experience in software sales, renewals, or customer-success oriented roles in a B2B environment.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple accounts.

Schedule & Location

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00–18:00

Location: Durban, South Africa (On-site)
