Presales Solutions Engineer (German Speaker)

Overview

DigiCert is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer (German Speaker) to join our team in Berlin with remote options within Germany. In this customer-facing role, you will partner with the Sales team to articulate DigiCert's security solutions, design customer-specific architectures, deliver product demonstrations, respond to technical questions, and drive successful pre-sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical presales demonstrations and workshops for potential customers
• Collaborate with the Sales team to qualify opportunities and understand customer requirements
• Design security solution architectures using DigiCert products (PKI, TLS, encryption, and related technologies)
• Respond to technical questions, RFPs, and other customer inquiries
• Lead Proof of Concept engagements and articulate the value of DigiCert solutions
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate market needs into product improvements
• Travel as needed to customer sites or events (within reasonable limits)

Requirements

• Fluent in German and English
• 2+ years in presales, solutions engineering, or a technical consulting role
• Strong knowledge of PKI, TLS/SSL, cryptography, and authentication mechanisms
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and security technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
