Job Summary

Dialpad is seeking a Senior Accountant, Commissions to lead commissions accounting for the company. This role partners with Sales, Finance, and Revenue to ensure accurate, timely calculation, recording, and reporting of all sales commissions.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly and quarterly commissions calculations for all sales teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Validate commission data and reconcile against ERP/CRM systems; prepare accruals and journal entries.
Maintain commission schedules, policies, and internal controls in line with GAAP and company standards.
Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, and Revenue to resolve data discrepancies and inquiries.
Prepare dashboards and management reporting on commission trends and performance.
Assist with audits and financial controls related to commissions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience, with specific experience in commissions or variable compensation.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
Experience with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Oracle/NetSuite, Salesforce) and advanced Excel skills.
Analytical thinker with attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally.
