DFM Engineer

📋 Description

• Evaluate designs for manufacturability; suggest improvements.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for quality and cost.
• Support production troubleshooting for smooth order execution.
• Interface with shops, partners, internal teams, and clients.
• Expand and strengthen manufacturer network and technical capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing engineering focusing on CNC machining and/or sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of cycle times, material and geometry limits, and cost optimization.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers, OEMs, and customers.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices.
• Ability to identify DFM issues from CAD models and drawings.
