- Build, assemble, test pre-production PCBA hardware for Starlink SMT.
- Set up PCBA line, program equipment, qualify test setups, transition designs to production.
- Program, load, and operate automated SMT machines (pick and place, reflow, AOI, X-ray).
- Troubleshoot SMT equipment for process stability and yield; root-cause analysis.
- Rework and recover non-conforming hardware; document root causes.
- Collaborate with engineers on manufacturability/DFM; train junior technicians.
π― Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- 1+ year hands-on SMT/PCBA manufacturing, assembly, or test.
- Experience with engineers in development or NPI environments.
- Hands-on SMT programming and optimizing (pick and place, reflow, AOI, X-ray)
- Soldering experience with IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 (Class 2/3)
- Proficiency reading schematics, Gerber files, and work instructions.
