  • Build, assemble, test pre-production PCBA hardware for Starlink SMT.
  • Set up PCBA line, program equipment, qualify test setups, transition designs to production.
  • Program, load, and operate automated SMT machines (pick and place, reflow, AOI, X-ray).
  • Troubleshoot SMT equipment for process stability and yield; root-cause analysis.
  • Rework and recover non-conforming hardware; document root causes.
  • Collaborate with engineers on manufacturability/DFM; train junior technicians.

🎯 Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • 1+ year hands-on SMT/PCBA manufacturing, assembly, or test.
  • Experience with engineers in development or NPI environments.
  • Hands-on SMT programming and optimizing (pick and place, reflow, AOI, X-ray)
  • Soldering experience with IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 (Class 2/3)
  • Proficiency reading schematics, Gerber files, and work instructions.
