Development Technician, Avionics Manufacturing

📋 Description

• Build and integrate flight-quality wire harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3.
• Perform PCBA assembly and rework per J-STD-001, including fine-pitch parts.
• Apply conformal coating to PCBAs per applicable standards.
• Assemble and test electromechanical systems and enclosures.
• Support battery manufacturing and integration, including cell handling and pack assembly.
• Collaborate with engineering to rapidly iterate development hardware.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years hands-on experience in wire harness manufacturing, PCBA, or electromechanical assembly.
• Experience with electronics test equipment (DMMs, scopes, power supplies).
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Class 3) and J-STD-001 certifications.
• Coating, potting, or encapsulation processes experience.
• Experience in high-mix, fast-paced development or flight hardware.
