Developer Advocate

📋 Description

• Create developer content: tutorials, explanations, and demos in blogs, videos, or talks.
• Edit and curate content: validate claims, test code, and maintain standards.
• Produce video content: screencasts, shorts, and explainers to expand education.
• Build and maintain demo projects and integrations showing Metabase in real use.
• Build and nurture Metabase's developer community through events, livestreams, and partnerships.
• Be present where developers spend time—Slack, Reddit, Discord, YouTube, and more.

🎯 Requirements

• You're fluent with SQL, databases, metrics, and analytics workflows.
• Experience building communities on Twitter/X, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, blogs, and meetups.
• Your communication style is clear, direct, and human.
• You identify as a teacher and a learner, a builder and a doer.
• You're empathetic, inclusive, and warm, helping beginners to seniors.
• You have good judgment about when to speak, listen, or stay out.
