Build and lead a new Desktop Software Engineering function.
Ensure desktop apps run reliably on managed endpoints.
Define how the team captures and communicates diagnostic data to product engineering.
Establish process to reproduce, triage, escalate desktop issues.
Hire, onboard, and develop a 2-4 person team; define operating model.
Foster engineering rigor with runbooks, docs, automation, and post-incident reviews.

🎯 Requirements

5+ years in endpoint/desktop engineering with 2+ years in tech lead or people management.
Hands-on macOS and/or Windows at systems/config level.
Experience with Kandji/Iru, Jamf Pro, or Microsoft Intune.
Experience partnering with product engineering on client-side issues and bug reports.
Proven ability to build and run a technical function: define process, standards, accountability.
Strong written and verbal communication; translate tech issues to business impact.
