Design Engineer - Avionics Integration

📋 Description

• Design and integrate avionics systems with airframe interfaces
• Maintain avionics envelope CAD models and keep-out zones
• Manage avionics hardware configuration and version control
• Define assembly processes and standardize across the team
• Collaborate with manufacturing for seamless aircraft integration
• Conduct trade studies to optimize system integration and mass

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 2-15 years in system-level integration and interface mgmt
• Experience generating BOMs and change-control processes
• CAD modeling (NX preferred), 2D drawings, GD&T
• Mass budgeting and configuration management for systems
• Aerospace manufacturing: machining, joining, composites
