Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Build Astro-based marketing surfaces; faster, interactive, personalized.
• Translate Figma prototypes into production-grade motion and interactions.
• Build data-driven marketing pages with per-cause hubs and stories.
• Wire marketing into analytics and feature flags (PostHog, LaunchDarkly).
• Collaborate with Webflow team on analytics, SEO, and decisions.
• Partner with Growth, Marketing, Design, and Engineering to align needs.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years frontend engineering experience building production web apps or marketing sites.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Semantic HTML, modern CSS, responsive layouts, and browser rendering.
• Experience with Astro, React, Next.js, or Svelte.
• Animation systems with GSAP, Framer Motion, View Transitions, Lottie, or scroll animations.
• Analytics, A/B testing, or feature flags (PostHog, LaunchDarkly, Segment, Amplitude).
• Reusable frontend components and maintainable architecture.
• Core Web Vitals, performance optimization, and accessibility (WCAG, reduced motion).
