Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Work 1:1 with a product designer to turn Figma concepts into real prototypes.
• Build prototypes with React/Next.js/TypeScript/Tailwind using Cursor and Claude Code.
• Translate multi-screen Figma flows into working code with designers.
• Iterate quickly; prototypes are our primary product artifact.
• Use the design system as the foundation; create new components only when needed.
• Deploy to preview environments for async review and alignment.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years building web UIs with React, modern JS, and component-based architecture.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind.
• Solid grasp of React fundamentals and layout systems (Flexbox, Grid).
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and Radix, Headless UI, or shadcn/ui.
• Comfortable in a production-style codebase.
• Familiar with Git workflows and preview deployments (e.g., Vercel).
