📋 Description

• Co-lead the research team and supervise reporters.
• Escalate complex reporting challenges and sensitive sourcing.
• Prioritize incoming research requests and balance longer-term projects.
• Shape strategy and ensure high-quality research across desks.
• Provide hands-on guidance on records strategies, OSINT, and verification.
• Build relationships with editors, reporters, and partner newsrooms.

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of experience managing a research team.
• In-depth investigative research experience in journalism.
• Knowledge of financial, corporate, government, legal or OSINT resources.
• Experience locating and analyzing public records across local, state and federal levels.
• Ability to guide staff in evaluating information from diverse sources and premium databases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across newsroom and partners.
