  • Advise C-Level on energy strategy and procurement for data centers worldwide.
  • Lead and negotiate complex energy agreements including PPAs and renewables.
  • Negotiate with utilities, providers, and partners across domestic/international markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive energy initiatives.
  • Support corporate development and financing for energy assets.
  • Counsel on regulatory rules (PUC, FERC, DOE) and manage outside counsel.

🎯 Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 15+ years in law firms or in-house handling cloud infra and energy deals.
  • Expertise negotiating PPAs and energy transactions.
  • Knowledge of Federal/state statutes affecting power (FPA, PURPA, PUHCA).
  • Knowledge of PUC and FERC rules, ISOs, and interconnection.
  • Experience with international energy markets (EMEA, APAC, LatAm) is a plus.
