Deputy CCO - Sanctions Officer

📋 Description

• Drive the implementation and enhancement of sanctions and compliance frameworks.
• Lead escalation and investigations for complex sanctions alerts.
• Own regulatory reporting obligations; key contact for exams and inquiries.
• Partner with legal, product, and engineering to meet MiFID and MiCA.
• Maintain sanctions policies aligned with EU regs, UN lists, OFAC, and local laws.
• Conduct assurance testing on sanctions controls and onboarding; drive remediation.

• Strong MiFID and MiCA knowledge; deep EU sanctions, OFAC, and UN regimes.
• Experience navigating regulatory divergence across global jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex compliance metrics and risk indicators.
• Experience overseeing outsourced functions with EU SLAs.
• Proven track record engaging with EU regulatory bodies (Bank of Lithuania).
